The projection "Paperlife" by Hauslaib Lichtwelten is dedicated to the fragile material of papaer. The media and light artist Andreas Hauslaib imagines that paper "remembers" all the written thoughts ever. The memories of writing, in the form of paper landscapes and paper figures, arrange themselves poetically at the Karlsruhe Castle.

The sound design consists of crackling, tearing and folding noises. It was mixed by Andreas Usenbenz to match the visual animations to a sound network. The castle is transformed into a living paper landscape. You´ll see, even paper contains surprising monsters and moments of magic.
