Metabolism is an influential Japanese architectural movement from the late 1950s that views buildings and cities not as rigid monuments, but as living organisms. METABOLISM replaces the architecture of the palace with dynamic, techno-organic structures and transforms it into a living organism. The interdisciplinary Meta­ noia team consists of Jakub Nosek and Julie Tampierová from the Czech Republic.
