The winning entry for the dm-Award “connecting worlds” 2026  explores the bureaucratic exhaustion of modern society and links  this to experiences of flight and refugee routes. The artwork, which  is both digital and analog consists of a video mapping on the palace  façade and sculptures at the Prinz-Max-Palais created together  with citizens in an open workshop—the work connects two  meanings of paper: as a raw material of the forest and as a tool of  administrative control. The interactive light and sound sculptures  are activated as visitors approach.
