SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE in the Heart of the City: elfino Club and ZKM Present a Digital Visual Art Exhibition in the Kaiserpassage

As part of this year’s SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE Karlsruhe, the elfino Club, in collaboration with the ZKM | Center for Art and Media, is presenting a digital visual art exhibition: On approximately 200 square meters of high-resolution LED walls, shows from past years’ SCHLOSSLICHTSPIELE can be experienced anew—accompanied by a unique Void sound system that brings sound and image into perfect harmony.

The elfino Club, located in the heart of Karlsruhe in the Kaiserpassage, is thus opening its doors far beyond the realm of nightlife. Those who are unable to see the projections on the castle façade at 10 p.m. each evening have the opportunity to experience the animations in the exhibition daily from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. This is particularly beneficial for school and kindergarten groups, for whom an evening visit to the Schlosslichtspiele is otherwise difficult to plan as a field trip.

At the same time, the exhibition showcases the possibilities offered by an LED wall of this scale—and the immersive experience created when sound and visuals work in perfect harmony.

Over the course of a month, the program will be complemented by additional events, including artist meet-and-greets, after-show parties, and much more.
